Whether you want to be a professional equine industry photographer or just want to shoot beautiful pictures of your horses, this workshop with award-winning, renowned equine photographer Christiane Slawik combines the joy of photography and artistic inspiration with her passion for horses.

Puglia – the “spur” and “heel” of the Italian boot – is one of Europe's historic horse breeding areas. Many claim this is the most archaeologically and historically diverse region in Italy.
Your accommodation for the workshop is at the beautiful Masseria Giancamisa, a working olive farm and Murgese horse breeding stud. The rooms in the property are typical Pugliese style. Classic, white-washed walls with original stone and wood features.There is a refreshing pool to relax in when you are not shooting photos and the property is surrounded by typical pugliese landscapes (and horses) to enjoy during your downtime.
Meals will be taken at the Masseria, on-route (picnic) and in the local villages.
Worskshop includes:
4 nights accommodation at Masseria Giancamisa (sharing room or single room on request).
All meals from the evening of arrival to the breakfast of departure.
Transfers to and from Bari airport at set times (4pm afternoon of arrival and 9am on day of departure).
Private and exclusive photoshoots at breeding studs and training centers
Translation into english of commentary from Italian stud owners
All transfers to shooting destinations daily

This course is organized by the Murgese Horse Association. This means we have exclusive access to private beeding and training facilities that are not usually available for photo shoots. The Murgese horse is Italys only baroque breed, and is a rare breed unique to the region of Puglia. This workshop held one of the worlds leading equine photographers, accompanied by Roberta Inama (international champion in working equitation) combined with the largest selection of private breeders is a world first. Come be part of something special!
