It all started in New Zealand, where horses are a way of life.
My hunting journalist dad and outdoor loving mum installed in me a passion for the outdoors.
Rural New Zealand was the perfect stomping ground to learn bush and horsemanship skills.
At 17, an overseas job offer convinced me to quit school and sell my horse for a one way ticket to Europe.
At the end of that trip, I spoke two new languages and most importantly, I had discovered what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
After finishing University I worked briefly as a flight attendant before following my heart back to Italy and the addictive world of horses.
After many exciting years working as a trail guide in Tuscany and Lazio, I followed my father and turned to journalism, which presented to me a new canvas for my creative expression.
Whilst my writing primarily focuses on horses and equestrian travel, I also enjoy projects about wine, food and ecotourism.
When I am not writing, you can find me exploring the ancient hills of Volterra on my horses. Follow our travels on Instagram here
