For the first few decades of my life, my exposure to the world outside of New Zealand was limited, sparking a desire to experience life outside of Aotearoa This longing brought me across the world, leading me to live in Australia, Germany and Italy.
I am (for now) based in picturesque rural Tuscany. When I’m not exploring on horseback, drafting an article or chasing my dogs around the countryside, I’m doing my best to help equestrian businesses communicate what is great about what they do or sell.
I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with amazing publications and clients—creating tailored trips for established agencies, taking part in international horse shows, writing articles, photographing products and so much more.
I've travelled the world and befriended innumerable internet strangers while navigating the depths of social media.
After fifteen exciting years working with horses, I turned to journalism (though I still enjoy riding), which has presented to me a new canvas for my creative expression.
I’m fascinated by world politics, food and wine and world history, and I often try to incorporate these subjects into my equestrian writing .
