Images in front of and behind the camera

Having worked in close proximity to animals all my life,  I have a knack for capturing the right moment at the right time, and though I am just an amateur photographer, I especially love to get behind the camera. 

Below are some of the shots I have taken while reporting around the world. 

Though I much prefer being behind the camera rather than in front of it, I have also worked as a model for some of the world's best equine photographers (Christiane Slawik, Cecile Zahorka, Alica Mak etc ).  

Those images have been used for calendars, posters and advertising - and even made the front cover of one of Mark Rashid's books. 

My experience in front of the camera has given me a strong understanding of the unique challenges involved with organising photoshoots and filming video footage with people and horses, and this experience helps me with my own photography and video content creation.
